About
CoreScape didn't start as a product. It started with one landscape company, VS Landscape, that had outgrown its software. More landscape companies are joining now.
We had worked with VS Landscape for years, building their websites and looking after their brand. So we saw up close how the company actually ran. They had software for routes, and other tools for the construction side. Everything in between lived in spreadsheets, group chats and phone calls. Photos got buried in message threads. Sites went missing. Hours got lost. When they asked for a change, it took months or never came.
At some point we said: why don't we build exactly what this company needs?
Today more than 70 people at VS Landscape are on CoreScape across their divisions. It runs the whole business, from the first quote to the last timesheet. No spreadsheets on the side, no photos lost in a chat.
In most software, the crew gets the same app as the office with a few screens hidden, and ends up looking at every customer and every site in the company. So we built a separate crew app. A crew member opens it and sees who their lead is, who they're working with and where they're going next. A crew lead sees their crew and their route: today, tomorrow and what comes after. Nothing else.
We started in 2025 with landscape construction, because nothing they used was made for it. The crews took to the first version in its first week, and then it kept changing, week after week, as the crews and the office told us what was missing.
In 2026 we rebuilt it from the ground up as CoreScape: one platform with an app for each trade. TerraCore for landscape construction, GroundCore for grounds and snow, and ArborCore for tree care. The construction and grounds crews moved onto it first, and the tree crew is next. Each one came from the owner and the managers asking for it. We told them to ask for anything they wanted. When they did, we built it and had it in their hands quickly, not parked on a wish list.
Built for VS Landscape's construction crews and used every day.
One platform, three apps. TerraCore and GroundCore run VS Landscape every day; ArborCore is rolling out to the tree crew.
The same software, set up for your business.
“It's made the mornings a lot easier. Everyone knows where they're going before they leave the yard, and I've got one dashboard that shows me exactly what's going on: who's clocked in, which routes are out and how far along each one is. If a stop gets skipped or pushed to later, I see it right away. I don't have to call around to find out anymore.”
Brent ShelleyDirector of Operations, VS Landscape“I used to plan the routes by hand, and it took a lot of time to get the order right. Now the AI works out the best order for me based on real driving time, and I can set it up the day before. The part I like most is that I can run it again in the middle of the day. If one crew is almost done and another is behind, it rebalances the stops that are left between them. It saves us a lot of driving.”
Matthew OsmanCommercial Supervisor, VS Landscape“I used to do estimates at the kitchen table and chase people for a signature. Now the client gets a link, picks what they want and signs it on their phone. When I open a job, the hours are already there. I'm not doing the paperwork at night anymore.”
TomManager, VS Landscape Construction“Payroll used to mean a pile of time sheets and a lot of phone calls asking who was where. Now the hours come in from the crews' phones, I check the few that need a correction, and it's done. It's a Monday morning job instead of a Monday.”
CelineExecutive Assistant, VS Landscape Group“We sat down and went through how a tree job actually runs, from the first call to the cleanup. The part I care about most is the tailboard: nobody starts cutting until the hazards are checked and everyone has signed on.”
JakeManager, VS TreeCrew leads, the office and the owners say what they need. Then they try it on a real day, and it changes again.
No screen ships as a rough stand-in. A half-finished screen just becomes something to argue about later.
A job that ran over says 143%, not a full green bar. A crew that's gone quiet turns amber. The app would rather tell you something you don't want to hear.
The problems CoreScape solved aren't unique to one company. Most software covers the big things. What makes a company run smoothly is the long list of small things nobody else builds. That's what we've spent our time on, and it's why we're opening CoreScape to other landscape companies.
We work the same way with every company that joins: you talk to the people who build it, and what you ask for gets taken seriously.
